• Job Description

  ● Collects, monitors, and maintains freight market intelligence database, such as freight index, bunker fuel markets, and global trade to identify trends and developments, potential threats and opportunities.
  ● Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly freight market updates and outlook to Fuel Management group and or Mancom.
  ● Prepares Rolling-Three-Months-Forecast (RTMF) of freight.
  ● Prepares annual 5-year forecast of freight for strategic planning.
  ● Assists Superiors in vessel chartering process by providing relevant market information to aid in decision making.
  ● Leads projects / feasibility studies related to freight market.
  ● Assists in the drafting and review of charter party agreements.
  ● Computes the demurrage / despatch of each coal shipment.
  ● Maintains records of charter party agreements, contract freight, demurrage /despatch payments.
  ● Performs other tasks that maybe assigned by his/her Superior.
