  <JOB SUMMARY>
  The Compliance and Data Protection Officer works independently in the performance of his/her functions. He/she is accountable for ensuring the compliance of the organization, its process owners and/or personnel responsible for collecting, holding, processing or using personal information or data, including third-party service providers to whom the organization outsourced the function of processing personal data pertaining to a data subject, with all laws and regulations that apply to the Company’s industry, internal and external, including but not limited to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules and regulations, issuances by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) and other applicable laws and regulations relating to privacy and data protection.
  He/she serves as the contact person between the organization and data subjects, the NPC and other authorities in all matters concerning data privacy or security issues or concerns, and other regulations and requirements by the different government agencies (such as the DOH, FDA, DOLE, etc.).
