  • Job Description

    Take purchase requests from various departments within a company and get price quotes from suppliers. Additionally, their responsibilities include contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries, vendor relationships and oversee order placement, including of raw materials. Among the other job duties of these professionals: price negotiations; purchase order creation; order tracking and management; and price dispute resolutions. The ultimate responsibility for most procurement staff is to find quality goods or services at an acceptable price that meet an organization’s needs.
    In the future when things settle, this position will also be responsible the the sales at Aiyoh industries.

    <Purchasing Responsibilities>
    1. Procurement Staff prepare purchase orders on behalf of their companies.
    2. Review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to determine which would
    provide the best deal.
    3. Creating and maintaining purchasing files and price lists, as well as determining if their companies have enough inventory on hand.
    4. Additionally, procurement clerks track deliveries and make sure their companies receive exactly what was ordered from suppliers. They sometimes physically check shipments to ensure the appropriate items were delivered.
    5. Procurement clerks also might answer supplier and customer inquiries about order changes or cancellations and check requisition orders for accuracy.
    6. Research potential vendors
    7. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
    8. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
    9. Review quality of purchased products which is aligned to the standards of quality assurance and/or engineering.
    10. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
    11. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
    12. Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
    13. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
    14. Arrange “Return to Vendor” if necessary.


    <Sales Responsibilities>
    The Sales Staff responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about the products and recommend the right solutions. Promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with product features of the company and maintain the company’s visual appearance in high standards.Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Staff are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the company’s sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    <MUST>
    *College graduate
    *Have at least 2-3 years, best if 5 years experience in sales/purchasing in PEZA manufacturing company
    *With experience looking for new suppliers, and not only handling the existing ones
    *Have a good oral and written communication skills.
    *Should be proficient in PC skills

    <PREFER>
    *with experience working in Japanese manufacturing company is a plus
    *With experience working in small company of 10-25 employees is a plus
    *Can start asap
