• Job Description

  1. Implements server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
  2. Performs technology needs analysis.
  3. Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
  4. Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
  5. Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed budgets and schedules.
  6. Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.
  7. Demonstrate knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
  8. Demonstrate knowledge of setting up remote access for users.
  9. Demonstrate ability to administer a 250+ node network including firewalls.
  10. Demonstrated ability to support networked printers and photocopiers.
  11. Demonstrate working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
  12. Orientation and training of I.T. Engineer.
  13. Manage the negotiation of hardware/software service and technical support contracts with vendors.
  14. Manage all information security projects, activities and tasks.
  15. Supervising, coaching, and mentoring of I.T. Engineers.
  16. Apply Server OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  17. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
  18. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
  19. Monitor daily performance/status of TICC’s Mainframe.
  20. Monitor scheduled preventive maintenance on servers, desktop computers and other peripherals.
  21. Update all servers and workstations with the latest security updates, service packs, anti-virus definition files, and other tools to prevent internal and external exploits.
  22. Perform and attend 5’s inspection when my supervisor is not around.
  23. Monitor MIS supplies and make purchase requisition as needed.
