  PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
  The purpose of the Accounting Manager position is on top in facilitating and
  implementing all financial activities and processes in accordance to the BIR, SEC and other
  governing bodies rules and regulations. The position is also part of the Project Management
  Team in the computerized system implementation, and take ownership in the subsequent system
  process improvement. Responsibility also requires effective and efficient planning, control and
  oversight on all Accounting operations.
  • Overall lead the accounting operations which includes Compliance, General and Management
  Accounting (A/R, GL, Inventory) and Payables and Costing.
  • Approve system and document entries and ensuring accurate and compliant records.
  • Manage and oversee month end closing requirements and ensure timely delivery of accurate
  results.
  • Review and submit monthly the company financial statements and related reports to the
  management.
  • Review monthly profitability and variances from the budget and report significant issues to
  management.
  • Ensure timely compliance to reportorial requirements of different government agencies and
  tax filings.
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organizations’ liabilities and investments and
  prepare timely financial and operating results.
  • Provide financial analysis for cash flow capital investments, pricing decisions, working
  capital, product costing, variance analyses, and other report as needed.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts.
  • Ensure an orderly accounting filing system
  • Assess current accounting operations, and make recommendations to achieve greater
  efficiencies and accuracy in the level and timeliness of reporting.
  • Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, guidelines, controls and
  reporting systems and ensure efficient implementation.
  • Coordinate and align with other department to ensure achievement of department and
  company goals.
