  Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the accounting manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
  
  • Manages disbursements to suppliers.
  • Tracks balance of the Company’s bank accounts and ensures availability to meet drawings.
  • Ensures timely billing of invoices to customers.
  • Manages filing of regulatory reports to relevant bodies.
  • Ensures efficient tax planning.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for Management and external stakeholders;
  • In agreement with the line manager, establishes and maintains filing systems as appropriate.
  • Performs other related tasks, as required by management.
