Job Description
Key Duties: • Develop course based on instructional design documents such as storyboards, scripts, media lists and assessment tools • Develop graphics, audio, animations, and video for eLearning courses• Record and edit voiceovers• Strong proofreading and editing skills• Provide thorough quality assurance of all course material• Actively participate in special projects, initiatives and programs as required • Adhere to the style guide for developing future materials • Assist processes and standards in the creation of online course materials such as templates, checklists and guidelines • Maintain relevant project documentation Key Responsibilities: Promote and develop a culture that reflects the values and principles of Frontier Software by: • Ensuring all staff feel they are a valued and important contributor. • Promoting and committing to a continuous journey of personal growth of all staff and clients. • Committing and accountability to the professional and ethical standards of behaviour, individually and within the team. • Striving to do the best. • Thinking outside the square to inspire new ideas. • Undertake projects as requested. Skills Base:• Soft skills: o Proven ability to work independently with limited supervisiono Must be ‘self-motivated’ as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions o Must be collaborative and a team-playero Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detailo Recognize and anticipate learner’s needs• Primary development tools skills:o Adobe Captivate. Evidence of previous work may be requested o Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator) is highly preferredo GoAnimate• Secondary tool skills:o Audacity or the likeo SnagIt (version 10 or newer) or like tool for screen shotso Microsoft Office Suite such as PowerPoint (advanced), Word, and Excelo Knowledge in an established Learning Management Systems highly preferred
