• Job Description

  Under the close supervision of the Autocad Operator Head and general guidelines of the Deputy Head of Engineering, by provides excellent technical skills to produce meticulous shop drawings according to the client’s preference and champion the company’s design philosophy.
  
  1. Confers with immediate superior on instructions received, validating understanding and making clarifications to make sure shop drawings are in conformity with directives and instructions.
  2. Coordinates with engineers, architects and other professionals in the project site to get more details of specific instruction, provides suggestions to facilitate tasks and help ensure drawing accuracy thereof.
  3. Prepares shop and as-built drawings upon receipt of instructions directly from the immediate superior and utilizing the CAD systems and appropriate computer software.
  4. Works from drawings by utilizing sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings or specifications to facilitate precision.
  5. Makes use of specialized notations and symbols in the shop drawing to convey instructions about materials, assembly procedures or tools using specific computer software and application.
  6. Takes actual measurements by visiting building/project sites to collect data and take photosto facilitate accurateness.
  7. Reviews data received from engineers and technicians to ensure conformity to design plans.
  8. Prepares submittals by having the drawings reviewed and approved by the immediate superior and other concerned officers to ensure congruency in design.
  9. Identifies dissemblance, if any, by submitting Request for Information (RFI) to resolve incongruity.
  10. Performs other functions which maybe required by the immediate superior from time to time.
