    (1) Bilingual IT Engineer
    Acts as coordinator ensuring seamless information discussion / collaboration with the Japanese system integrator partner, the Japanese end-client/customer and the Pointwest offshore techical delivery team. As the coordinator, the resource may be assigned onsite in Japan at the client site or offshore with the Manila team. The engineer should have ample IT experience in related projects for services such as development / integration, maintenance or testing to be able to converse with the Japanese team and Manila team in the context of an IT project. The resource is expected to be fluent in reading and writing Nihonggo in a format and tone acceptable to the business environment. Some of the sources of information will include phone conversations / telecons, email, status reporting, existing technical and non technical documentations in both English and Japanese.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    -Must be a college graduate (preferably IT-related course)
    -Preferably with team management / supervisory experience.
    -Preferably with bridge engineer experience.
    -Willing to work from any Pointwest delivery center (UP, Makati, RBC -- but preferably UP)
    -Must be fluent in reading and writing Nihonggo in a format and tone acceptable to the business environment.
