• Job Description

  1. Basic function:
  The Supply Supervisor shall ensure that the day to day supply chain activities of the company runs smoothly and efficiently. He / She shall perform end-to-end supply chain activities / tasks (i.e. from supply planning up to the delivery of the product(s) into the company’s storage tanks). He / She will be the focal person for suppliers that the Sales & Supply Manager will assign to him / her when it comes to shipping documents and other pertinent requirements that are required to seek clearance from the Philippine Customs.
  
  2. Reports to: Sales & Supply Manager
  
  3. Responsibilities:
  3.1 Assists the Sales & Supply Manager in preparing the (i) annual, (ii) six months and (iii) monthly supply forecast of all PPCI products.
  3.2 Monitors supply movement to ensure availability of stock and works closely with the Sales & Supply Manager in sourcing product(s) in cases where such are not available from regular suppliers.
  3.3 Monitors, checks and updates the prices and shipment schedule of importations and local purchases from handled suppliers as needed.
  
  3.4 Communicates with handled suppliers via email or phone calls regarding product inquiries, shipment requirements, shipping documents, shipment status and other supply-related concerns.
  
  3.5 Negotiates price for local purchases with the guidance of the Sales & Supply Manager.
  
  3.6 Performs the clerical and administrative tasks of completing and filing all pertinent documents related to the company’s importations from handled suppliers such as, but not limited to:
  
  3.6.1 Obtaining all shipping documents from the supplier and ensures that other requirements i.e. PDEA permit, ATRIG, etc. are secured in a timely manner.
  
  3.6.2 Ensuring that the sales contract, sales confirmation, proforma invoice and purchase order are signed and received by the supplier/seller in a timely manner and are filed/kept in a systematic way.
