  Under the close supervision of the Bidding Head, helps in the feasibility studies of the project. Quantity Surveyor estimates the amount ofmaterials involved in the project, based on measurements of the designer’s or client’s sketches. Quantity Surveyor maximizes the project margin and adds value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.
  
  1. Validates instructions received by conferring with immediate superior to clarify understanding thereof.
  2. Prepares tender by assessing tender documents to ensure sufficient information available.
  3. Collaborates with other members of the department by attending meetings and exchanging of relevant documents to facilitate establishment of responsibilities.
  4. Confirms visualization of plans by conducting feasibility study and site inspection to validate estimations.
  5. Determines the materials involved by studying the plans and identifying the quantity involved to set an overall estimation for the project.
  6. Prepares Request of Quotations by providing appropriate team member with requirements and specifications to ensure fulfillment of materials needed.
  7. Completes Billing of Quantity (BOQ) by estimating quantities and complete breakdown of materials to aid the appropriate team member in costing.
  8. Prepares for technical submission by completing all necessary documents to facilitate approvals.
  9. Finalizes proposal by attending Tender Clarification Meeting and make revisions, if necessary to facilitate wrap-up.
  10. Prepares turn-over plans and documentations by reproducing such for issuance to site team.
  11. Files all documents by utilizing appropriate office equipment and computer system to facilitate safekeeping and easy retrieval thereof.
  12. Performs other functions which maybe required by the immediate superior from time to time.
