  1. Assign in machine/process design and improvement; machine overhauling and system modification or upgrade.
  2. Collaborates with technians and other personnel to identify, define, and develop solutions.
  3. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  4. Provide decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  5. Develop the processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
