Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Reports to the President.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AR, AP, GL, Treasury, Asset Mgt, Tax)
• Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures, manuals, and flow charts
• Implement and monitor month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing activities
• Prepare FS, management reports, and ad hoc analysis as requested by the President/HQ in Japan
• Liaise with external auditors, legal and bank partners
• Supervise and engage the team, initiate performance review versus KPIs
Qualifications
Requirement
• CPA with At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting preferably in an IT/BPO industry
• Preferably BOA (Board of Accountancy) accredited to prepare statutory Financial Statement in the Philippines
• Well versed in Philippine local and national taxes, PEZA, SEC and other statutory/corporate compliance
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• Knowledgeable in using QuickBooks Desktop version or other relevant accounting softwares
• Ability to speak Japanese is an advantage but not a requirement
• Willing to work full-time in BGC but may be required to report from time to time in QC site (along Commonwealth Avenue)English Level
