SQA Manager Job Description:
a. Plans, implements and manage the company / department’s software quality assurance activities.
b. Plans, implements and manage the company / department’s process improvement initiatives.
c. Provide support to the department’s PMO
d. Coordination with project managers and senior management on the implementation and results of the quality assurance and process improvement activities.
e. Creation of monthly quality reports
f. Collects and analyzes company-wide quality data to identify areas for improvement
g. Provides support to software project teams through project data analysis and develops, recommends, and monitors corrective and preventive actions
h. Provides guidance in root cause analysis and recommends corrective and preventive actions
i. Handles and conducts SQA-related trainings
a. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / IT-related course
b. Have at least 3 years Quality Management experience preferably in Software Quality Management
c. Preferably has Software Project Management experience
d. Knowledgeable and with experience in CMMI, ISO9001, Six Sigma, Quality Audit
e. Knowledgeable in any software development process (Waterfall, Agile, V-model, etc)
f. Knowledgeable and with experience in Software Process Improvement and Software Metrics
g. Knows and have experience in quantitative Data Analysis (Descriptive Statistics, Exploratory and confirmatory data analysis)
h. Knowledgeable and with experience in developing and conducting SQA-related trainings.
i. Well versed with QC Tools
j. Has initiative with good problem solving, analytical sand critical-thinking skills
k. Has strong organizational and leadership skills and possess good negotiation skills
l. Software development experience is a plus.
