  • Job Description

    Independently executes the timely completion of complex Global Market Access (GMA)
    projects. Identifies and collects required items relevant to scheme checklists, identifies
    completeness of ready to certify package, submits for review and certification. Facilitates
    GMA research and projects and mentor GMA staff. Supports the management of all project
    activities. Additional project activities may include assessment of operations, processes and
    organizational structures.
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Identifies appropriate defined plan outlining scheme requirements.
    • Identifies if all required items (documents, contracts, and/or samples) are available
    as defined by the scheme checklist.
    • Supports sales and engineering with complex GMA scheme-related inquiries.
    • Communicates to internal/external clients regarding required information per
    checklist, project status and final project deliverables.
    • Supports internal/external customers in understanding regulatory requirements to
    access global markets in multiple regulatory areas.
    • Independently works with cross-functional divisions and teams to ensure projects
    remain on track and to resolve issues.
    • May act as subject matter expert for specific schemes.
    • Supports the global GMA team to build and maintain operational tools and databases
    and may own specific data under his responsibility.
    • May handle complex GMA research projects and other knowledge services.
    • Mentor and train GMA delivery staff.
    • Leads and integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques specifically
    for project process and document management.
    • Support creation and improvement of delivery guidelines and training.
    • May assist with program management, performance management and work
    distribution.
    • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all
    physical and digital security practices.
    • Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Associate Degree in technical discipline such as Engineering or Science is strongly preferred.
    • Experience in leading kaizen initiatives will be highly preferred.
    • Fluent English both in reading and writing
    • Candidate have experience working with Japanese companies is a plus.
    • Excellent project management and coordination skills
    • Leading attitude, looked upon as a leader
    • Well Organized, high attention to details, keen to follow instructions and procedures
    • Mindset on customer satisfaction and to exceed expectations
    • Deep knowledge of the TIC industries and the differences between the various schemes.
    • Good working knowledge of basic business software is required (Microsoft suite).
    • Proficient in Japanese hiragana katakana and kanji is highly preferred but not a must.
