    We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer who will thrive in our fast-paced and diverse R&D environment. The Technical Sales Engineer will report directly to the Head of Japanese, and work directly with potential customers to assess requirements, determine feasibility of programs, and provide a technical solution.
    This is an opportunity to grow to be the technical face of us and new business for us.

    Responsibilities:
    -Demand Creation and Relationship Management:
    Focused on technical needs of complex, emerging, or under penetrated prospects.
    -Drive supplier and customer engineering relationships at multiple levels.
    Utilize distribution/rep/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
    -Create selling opportunities through a planned discovery process.
    -Provide IoT Product/Solution training to manufacturing company’s support staff and customers
    -Plan and modify products and solutions to meet client needs.
    -Participate in research and development of new products and solutions.
    -Understand manufacturing company process and technologies, differentiation, and fabrication capabilities
    -Comprehend customer requirements, generate risk assessment, and deliver cost benefit analysis
    -Deliver insights & recommendations to senior sales executives, share inputs from the market to the product and delivery teams
    -Perform in a diplomatic and discrete manner while acting as a partner to sales, development, and operations.
    -Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations explaining Core Product, Market Products or Industry Solutions to existing as well as prospective clients.
    -Staying current on product knowledge and/or gaining technical certifications.
    -Attend supplier training events to keep up-to-date on product line.
    -Own and drive usage and adoption for company’s products by being the trusted advisor to our clients, partners and resellers.
    -Executes on solution selling through a working knowledge of sysytem supply chain solutions and design processes.
    -Grow profit and maximize margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions, with emphasis on demand creation and engineering.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    MUST
    Bachelor’s degree Post graduate degree plus.
    Strong analytical and hypothesis-based problem-solving skills.
    Able to communicate clearly, effectively with senior executives.
    Have experience as a IoT sales engineer or IoT consultant to manufacturing company
    Intimate familiarity with manufacturing company processes and equipment
    Have own car or use family car for job

    BETTER
    Have experience as a business development or a pioneer in the new department or company
    Have relationship with Japanese manufacturing company
